Gathering for Maddy 2022

Please save-the-date for June 25th, 2022 as our next Gathering for Maddy. For those able to meet up in Boulder, Maddy’s family and friends will meet at the Shanahan Ridge Trail at 9:45 am on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 to hike together in open space where Maddy worked and played. For those unable to join us in person, we would love for you to join us in solidarity at 10 am on June 25th, 2022. Whether you walk in a park, hike to a peak, stroll on a beach, or enjoy a seat in a garden, we welcome your presence!

We will hike the South Fork of the Shannahan Trail. This is a well-maintained trail that’s a little uphill to start but isn’t technical or too challenging. Sneakers should be fine to hike in. It should take between 45 min- 1. 25 hrs to complete the loop. Our best guess is that it will be pretty warm so bring some water and sunscreen.

The Trailhead is located at 1915 Lehigh St, Boulder, CO 80305.

The Gathering will be at the Ash Lignell’s home following the hike, which is just a couple of blocks north from the trailhead. We’d love to see you all around 12pm, but if you’re done with the hike and want to come directly to the house, that’s perfectly fine, too. We will have lunch and plenty to drink, and will have a chance to share our love for Maddy during the afternoon.
