Maddy was so easy to be around and I'm so grateful I was able to know him. A Maddy memory that makes me smile is from our freshman year of high school. The choir was told to go door-to-door selling Christmas wreaths (in early September when no one wanted one) and when most kids struggled to sell 5 wreaths, Maddy took it upon himself to sell 50. The teacher had him stand up in front of 90 students to congratulate him and while he was grinning with pride, you could also tell he had a sense of humor about the whole thing and a twinkle in his eye. It was so endearing and speaks to the boisterous and fun-loving person he was. Sending so much love to Jordana, Oliver, Shayna, and Hanna.

Dear Maya,
Thank you so much for sharing this. Among the influx of other messages I somehow think I missed this? Anyway, what an absolutely hilarious memory. I hated that fundraiser and think I sold about 12 in total for all 4 years. But it doesn't surprise me that he sold that many either. He was so cute, funny and affable (and debating), I bet he sold one to every person he spoke to. Do you remember if that was the case? Haha.
Thank you again. If you ever remember and want to share any additional stories, pictures etc, I (and I know many other people) would absolutely love to see/hear them all. And they will be cherished forever.
Sending big love from Berlin,
Hanna
